This Privacy Policy describes how Valenia Brands LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company doing business as Zalinae (“Zalinae”, “we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit zalinae.com (the “Site”) or place an order with us. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and in line with applicable U.S. federal and state privacy laws.

Information you give us: name, shipping and billing addresses, email address, phone number, order details, communications you send us, and information you provide if you create an account.

Payment information: card number, expiration, and security code are processed directly by our PCI-DSS compliant payment providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal, Afterpay, and others displayed at checkout). We do not see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type and language, device identifiers, pages viewed, time on site, referring URL, and similar log data. We collect this through cookies, pixels, and server logs.

3. How we use your information

  • To process, fulfill, and ship your orders.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
  • To send transactional messages (order confirmations, shipping updates, return instructions).
  • To send marketing communications, only when you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • To comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting, and consumer-protection laws.
  • To improve the Site and our products through aggregated analytics.

4. How we share your information

We share personal information only with the partners we need to operate the store. We do not sell your personal information.

  • Payment processors: Shopify Payments, PayPal, Afterpay, and other providers shown at checkout.
  • Shipping carriers: USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and international postal partners.
  • Email and SMS providers: for transactional and (if you opt in) marketing communications.
  • Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, used to understand traffic and measure ad performance.
  • Service providers: fraud-prevention services, customer-support tools, and accountants under written confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal: when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
  • Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Cookies and tracking technologies

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@zalinae.com from the email address associated with your order. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with written authorization.

7. EEA and UK residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct, delete, port, and restrict the processing of your data, and to object to processing. The legal bases on which we rely are the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating the store and preventing fraud, your consent (for marketing emails and certain cookies), and our legal obligations. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

8. Children

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, in line with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Order records are typically retained for up to seven years for tax and accounting compliance. Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe and for a short cooling-off period afterwards.

10. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures (TLS encryption, access controls, vetted vendors) to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the Internet is fully secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we work to make sure the information you trust us with is well looked after.

11. International data transfers

We operate from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. Where required, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or with a prominent notice on the Site.
